What sports events will you see on your EVO?

I could see myself watching one game while attending another. Like being at a Rockies baseball game, and watching a Nuggets game during the slow parts.

Doubt my wife will let me watch the Broncos games while in church though. LOL.

Forget the apps, SprintFun. The EVO will allow streaming to be flawless.

It's just so-so with 3G, but I'm sure in 4G, it'll be like using it on a CPU w/ a cable/dsl/t3 hard line connection.

It should work okay on 3G, until 4G will be available in your area. I use that website all the time with my Touch Pro. It's choppy as hell, but the EVO will be SO much faster!

I just had a great idea. I'll take video of a sports game streaming on my Touch Pro, using Skyfire tonight. Then, when the EVO comes out, I'll film video of a sports game streaming on the EVO.

That'll give us some good comparisons on how much better the phone is w/ streaming on 3G alone.
 
I will be watching cardinals baseball on the evo. Can't wait to see what all those homers look like on that amazing screen!

When the time comes I will be watching my cards in the world series on my phone when I'm at work....don't wanna miss any 5 run 9th innings like last night.

Aww man TS is gonna end up hating me lol. Im a Queens NY born, transplanted next to Philly fanatic. I had to disown my rights as a Mets fan after the Doc and Strawberry era.

Suffered thru all the horrible years of being a Phillies fan (90's early 2000's)....but look how that turned out.

Do any of these actually stream to any cell phone via application or embedded flash in browser? Or is this just some vague excuse to talk about your favorite teams?

One thing I will do is take photos and videos of my friends while we watch the O's lose this summer :D

That is so true, the era of Mookie, and the tag team of Backman and Johnson. After that season and them trading half the team it was all down hill. Shame cause i like the mets. Yankees, I think they are over rated, and way over paid. But thats for another thread.

So far i would see myself seeing Baseball and Soccer and some basketball on the EVO, I'm not that into Hockey and i really can't stand football. A game where you carry a ball and rarely use your foot. ??????? (I'm sure to get flack over that comment) lol

TS, have you been to Citi field or whatever its called? Could always get some nice shots of it with the Evo.

I'm going to an Indians v Reds game June 27th. I'm assuming that I'll have my Evo by then, and praying that Cinci's 4G coverage is up and running so I can see what it can do on 4G.

I'm hoping. I actually know nothing about him but I'm hoping our secondary is much much better next year between Revis, Cromartie, this new guy, and the other guy they signed from Indianapolis (forget his name at the moment). We can't afford to have QB's pick us apart like Brees and Manning did last year.

If Sanchez continues to progress and make correct reads, and if we stay relatively healthy, I do not see why we cannot get back to at LEAST the AFC championship game.

As for my other teams...I 'like' the Mets and NYRangers but don't follow those sports too much.

Basketball is my favorite sport. I'm a UAlbany D1 Mens basketball Season ticket holder (3rd Row, center court) and a HUGE Miami Heat fan (although being a NY'er, I follow the Knicks as well). Yes, I know that's ironic lol. The 90's were a long time ago.

Right now the Heat suck. Beyond Wade there is NO ONE who can do anything. Although Beasley averages 20/9 per 40 minutes, he's been a disappointment. I wish we had gotten Rose. The sad thing is it's all mental with Beasley. It's not that just can't ball. Dude is, talent wise, a ridiculous player.

I don't see the Heat winning a game against Boston. Hopefully we get Stat or Bosh (although I personally think Bosh is going to OKC) and then fill in the rest with vets.

It's okay, I wasn't even expecting us to be the #5 seed and have 47 wins.

I'm rooting for OKC to win against the Lakers. My pick for the Champs is Cleveland.

yeah I have, nice stadium with great views. But i also wish they made a retractable roof on the thing. Its a shame not to use it the rest of the year.

And i agree, taking shots of it would be great. Which brings me to another point. Somewhat EVO/Sports related. What about those events that are paid per view. I wonder if there is gonna be a major scandal of dEVOtees using their EVO to take video and uploading the event directly real time.

i'll be watching the NFL draft. The Texans are making solid picks ;) Kareem Jackson and Ben Tate. Patches up big needs and the trade for the Tate pick gives a 3rd rounder.
 
This is sports related, but for any of you that have viewed the Nike website from a PC/MAC (or any computer for that matter), I'm actually very curious to see how the EVO handles browsing that website! The Nike website is SO poorly designed that it stalls ANY chance of multi-tasking while it's up and running. Especially the Nike ID part of the website. If the EVO handles the Nike website well (very heavy use of flash), I'll definitely be impressed.

doesn't even have to be great, he just needs to be solid. Texans chances at the playoffs came down to the last game of the season between other teams since they didn't control their destiny...I like how they are plugging holes with solid, not flashy, picks.

the jags are determined to suck. i can't understand what they're doing.

it'll be very interesting to see how a guy like dez bryant does in dallas. he's pretty much going to need a babysitter.

tebow to denver is a huge WTF as well. if nothing else the broncos are guaranteed a ton of coverage over the next year with their new missionary. His throwing might be worse than even captain wonderlic, vince young
