Root What to do when next update comes out?

I had a quick question that I was interested in getting some opinions on.
Finally took the plunge last night and flashed to DJ05. Was debating DL09, but that seems to be getting mixed results. Anyway I was wondering when say the next update officially comes out whether it be DL09, or Froyo, or whatever what do you guys recommend doing?

Being on DJ05 I believe I can't get OTA updates now, correct? Also whether I can or not, would getting an OTA update remove clockworkmod or unroot me? This is probably another one of those questions where I'm just not searching the right things and finding. Any advice from you guys is appreciated.

really theres no point in taking otas if you are in the root crowd....if we dont get things leaked way earlier than at the very worst within a few hours of ota there is a flashable cwr version for us from jt and company :)

stick with dj05 until something better (and believe me you ll know) comes out :D

Yes you will know we will all know. The day we get Froyo there will be as much traffic here as ever before :eek:
 
Thanks for the input. I'll just do what you guys said and stick to the updates that come through the forums and such. Also thanks for the input on the DJ05 vs. DL09 thing.

In the meantime I'm just looking forward to Fede's rewritten release of LauncherPro. In the meantime I guess I'll go play around with custom Roms and Kernels.
