Based on previous threads I thought there would be more iPhone switchers than we've seen in the poll so far. I looks like BlackBerry has the most to lose so far.

Nokia N97 on AT&T. It was a dog compared to Droid. I believe Microsoft is a dog that's why the HD2 must have a 1GHZ processor. I hope Android lives up to our expectations, it has so far.

Had an old Alltel Razr V3M, broke it after 3 years, then an Alltel Kyocera Kx5 for a few months, now the Droid convinced me to stay with Verizon.

Had a Nokia, then a RAZR, then a ROKR, then a RIZR, then an Alias, and come February--unless something else better is announced--I'll be getting the Droid.

first phone - that silver samsung flip phone that everyone owned before the razr

second phone - vx8100, it had its problems, but was built like a damn tank

third phone - LG chocolate, of all that is holy and beautiful in this world, this is not one of them.

fourth phone - droid

Its like night and day, smartphones are a whole different invention.

Alltel Blackberry 8330

I'm a Alltel to Verizon convert due to them purchasing the company. So I was still using my Alltel Device. Switched to the Droid.

I had a Palm Treo 755p. It was my 5th PalmOS device since 1997, 3rd PalmOS phone. (3com Pilot 500 Palm V, Kyocera 6135, Kyocera 7135)

Samsung I8910 Omnia HD on AT&T
HTC Hero on Sprint
SE Xperia X1 on AT&T

Dropped AT&T like a hot potato and returned the Hero in a flash after spending just 3 hours with the Droid on 11/6!

I had a Sony Ericsson TM506 on T-Mobile.

I am picky with technology. Like I always wanted a digital camera but never wanted to get one until they had one that did at least 3000x wide in sharp quality.

With phones the iPhone was the first high end phone I considered getting but it lacked some things I wanted, like a higher res screen when I first saw people viewing websites on it. Then later on I had serious objections to Apples behavior with their App Store.

So finally the Droid came out and after reading about it I went to a Verizon store 1 day after launch and I decided to buy it after using one for about 15 minutes.
