What's a worthy replacement?

I made the move to an HTC One V. I like the size, very much like the Desire. Single core is fine by me, ICS and Sense 4.0 seem snappy too me. The screen is better than my better halfs S2X imho. Build quality is great and the battery seem to last 2-3 days.

Out of interest, what would one get for a Desire these days for trade ins or a reasonable price for a friend-exchange?

I'm on the opposite side, while I like 4+" screens (had an S2X for a time) for my use I prefer the 3.5 - 4" size. Same resolution on a smaller screen looks sharper anyway ;)

Damn - maybe (feel sure you will be able to answer lol) you can answer my query my post re returning to 2.3!

Yeh got to agree, still need my deisre for a couple of days until my number transfers. It feels like a toy now compared to the SGS3. :):)
 
Im really gonna miss all the chatter about the desire, but i really would also like to thank dan, Rasta and hadron for all your help over the last couple of years, I really hope to see you in the sgs3 threads as soon as I can upgrade. Thankyou once again.
 
Been tempted to get a SGS3 and using my desire for work and put the SIM in the SGS3 when I get home.

Now seriously tempted just to get the Nexus 7 and keep my desire as just a phone. Looks pretty damn good and reckon it'll have a good following and dev support :-) plus the price is cracking.
