I took the remaining taco mix I had and made a chili for chili dogs for dinner.

Left over dinner from my mother's birthday outing.

The wife thought that tonight was a good night to organize the freezer.
So, for dinner, we had a half bag of shrimp, a few fish sticks and a couple ears of corn.

We went out to eat at one of our favorite restaurants. They specialize in fried chicken and everything is served family style. The meal opens with the best home made chicken noodle soup you will ever have and ends with a honey/sugar coated crumb cake and way more than you can eat in-between. There was a time in my younger years that it was one of the few places where I could eat my fill. Nowadays I eat there because their food is that good and I leave more on the table than I can possibly consume.

I tried something different tonight. I griddled hamburger steaks on the Blackstone. I mixed ground beef with onion, garlic, bell pepper, toasted bread crumbs, S & P, egg and a bit of milk. I made patties and then smashed them thin on the Blackstone for some crispy edged steaks. I will be making them again soon. They were very tasty, fairly cheap, and easy to make. It could easily have been a skillet dish but my skillet would only accommodate two steaks at a time.

We had oven baked mac and chees with, chicken inside of it, with cauliflower and broccoli ontop of it.
I feel really full from eating most of they day.

Last night it was pimiento cheese and bologna sandwiches.
Tonight, we should be having burgers and fries.

I had a fish n cheddar sandwich and a small fry from Arby's .

Penne pasta with spa-ghetti sauce and light cheese,
it was pretty delicious.

I didn't get home until late so I put a ham sandwich together and had some cottage cheese. It wasn't great but I was hungry so it was excellent.

Another day spent on the well and well house at the cabin. For something quick and easy for dinner I made some hamburger gravy and had it over mashed potatoes.
