what phone do you have? isn't that rom for the incredible 2? or am i missing something. i do not see that rom listed for the evo.

I'm using EVO4g, incredible 2 hd v2 0.1 signed.zip is the Rom I'm using. You helped me with the install. Maybe I'm not running correct Rom ?

Oh oh,how can it work on my EVO? Wich is correct Rom then ? No wonder I'm having so many glitches ! Please help.

Just curious, how's that running and does it throw you onto VZW's network? If so, and it's running pretty well, wouldn't be a bad ROM to toss into a slot on Boot Manager at some point when in a bad Sprint location LOL

Takirb, it works fine with sprint. But when i ask it to do too much or too quick it freezes up on me.Not too often but it happens. might as well leave it in and just look for some update i guess. Any opinions??????

you have to be really careful when flashing something to your phone. if i were you i would try and see if you can try and flash another rom. flashing a rom not made for your phone is a good way to brick your phone. make a nandroid backup and try like others have suggested and try and flash mikg2.59 from the rom/kernel sticky.

Seriously, I'm suprised it even booted.
Brickage would only happen, in my opinion, if it was an all inclusive update, like Sprint lovers, but for the other device. If you don't flash the wrong radios and such it "should" only fc the Crap out of you or boot loop.

Correct me if I'm wrong. :D

Glad you got it working.

I've always had issues with the phone getting laggy after a few days with the 3.5 ROMS.

Let us know how you like it after it settles in!
Will do. Thanks !! You guys are always super helpful.I just need to read posts from you guys a little slower and twice maybe three times ! I always jump the gun.But hey Im learning from my mistakes.

The 3.5 roms are cool but I would flash mikg 2.59 and set it up and make a nandroid just so you have a good stable backup of a stable rom to fall back on. and make sure you back up wimax on at least one back up.

Rxpert, like you said. It is very laggy. Especially since my evo only has 2g of space. But still a very nice Rom. Gonna try the new one. Thanks.

Also, I believe that is the one they have stopped development on. Their current 3.5 rom is still in beta form but that is the one they are actively developing.

If you like that ROM you are welcome to stay with it.

The "new" ROM is here:
[ROM]-[NEW BASE]-10/24/11 Supersonic3D XL Beta 1 (sense 3.5 GB 2.3.5) Sensation XL & Runnymede mixed

It was supposed to be getting an update soon so maybe wait for that before getting it all set up and have to re-flash it :D

This is my everyday driver f0r a m0nth n0w....Awes0me with N0 pr0blems!
My "o" is br0ke n my lapt0p!!

I would suggest mikG 2.6. It is sense 2.1 with some aspects of 3.0 and in my opinion one of the fastest, most stable ROMs out there. At least flash it and get it set up the way you like and do a nandroid so you have something to fall back on if you flash something else and dont like it

I did a nandroid of the one I have now and was thinking of instaling the(sense-3.5-GB-2.3.5)Runnymede-mixed but I don't know if I should just wait for an update. I was reading up on it and it kinda confused me :/ a little too much for a rookie. I don't know if the fixes will be worth the reinstall. Every time i install a Rom on my phone is like going back in time and being on a first date !!!!!!!

Everything in this ROM is working Except 4G (of course) and the 160mb meassage deal where you you can not split messages (which is like that with all 3.5 ROMs right now). The 720P HD camera even works in this ROM. It also has great battery life. NEWT is gonna have an update for this ROM in a couple of days, so I would probably run the MIK 2.59 and make a nandroid backup of that one at least until the update comes out for this ROM. NEWT said he put the update on hold because there are some new things that just came out that he wants to add. Its by far the best 3.5 ROM out right now, and Im sure the update will boost its already great performance.

Actually, the original base for the 3.5 (the one they stopped working on and I am currently running) had split messages working, had Sprint voicemail baked in and you didnt need to mount data to load a kernal. They seemed to be making a lot more progress working on that build than they are since they went to the XL build.

True! I guess I should not have used the word "everything" lightly, but what IS on the ROM works flawless, and the performance is still awesome. No lag on my phone at all, and everything is stock on mine except for me using the freedom kernal. I think there is an update somewhere that you can flash to the ROM to get the VVM working, cant remember, but its an easy fix so thats not really a problem as I have it working on mine. ....thats also why I suggested going with 2.59 until the XL update comes out sometime this week. Im sure the update will have all the goods baked in along with some extra "goodies" NEWT said he wanted to add before releasing. I read he is passing the update along to MIK to go over before releasing it, so I am sure between the both of them it will be a great ROM. Other than the split messages not working, which I really dont write to many "books" when texting anyway, I will still say its the best 3.5 ROM out right now. I will take the working 720P HD camera over manually splitting up my texts any day, LOL.

Whats the best and fastest way to find out if the update is out? I would imagine the thing to do is to follow Newts posts?? Please correct if im wrong !
