Lows in the 80s
Highs feel like 110.
Good thing I get to sit in the truck for 45 minutes an hour to let the sweat dry as I surf forums looking for gun stuff and trolling
 
It rained late yesterday just as predicted. Just a bit over an inch when I went to bed. A storm rolled in just after five this morning and dumped another .80 inch. A storm rolled in is a bit of an understatement. Winds were clocked at 111 mph. There was rotation as well but the tornado did not touch ground. Many mature trees are down across the city crushing everything in their paths. Houses, cars, trucks, sheds, fences, and the like suffered major damage. Downed power lines put my neighborhood out of power. It was just restored on my block but many are still without power. No major injuries are fatalities so that is a blessing. I escaped with only minor property damage but have a mass of huge branches to cut and haul. Just a bit more weather than I like.
 
Hot and uncommonly calm all weekend. It rained a little Saturday, just enough to ensure we maintained the high humidity that we love so... NOT. No major complaints however. It was a nice weekend to celebrated the 4th.
 
As of 6:35pm local time... thunderstorms and rain in the NYC area. Tuesday is forecasted to be rainy most of the day. Hopefully will give way to lower humidity for a few days, starting on Wednesday.
 
A thunderstorm popped up out of nowhere last night and dropped a lot of rain and small hail in a short amount of time. After all the rain I've had it's been way hot and dry for the past week. The rain was actually a welcomed change and lower temps followed which is fantastic. High today was in the upper 80s vs the 100s of last week.
