Seems the whole winter has been "not snow" but other "wintry mix."
Instead of using my fancy shmancy snowblower I've had to use a ton of salt because it's been all slush and ice. I've already gone through 150#.That's my fault. I bought a new clutch cable for the snowblower.
You know that part of central Mass they keep pointing too saying they weill be getting at least ten but they won't put an upper limit on it. Yep, that's where I am.Snow is for tomorrow here. Blizzard.
I'm right in the middle of that red blob expecting now 16-20 inches. It's just starting now, you should see it soon @dontpanicbobby.I'm putting my money down on over a foot by the evening commute. Never a bookie around when you need one. The truly, truly weird thing is we got up to the mid-forties temperature wise and the fifties in some places earlier today. The forecast for when I go back back to work at 11:00 PM Thursday calls for sub-zero wind chills.
I've got to get outside and top off the bird feeders before access gets buried. Other than that, no one is going anywhere, so I'll wait until this afternoon to clean up.They've upped me to 10", still better than your big red blob. Hunker down. I have at least 4-5" already I think. At least it's light and fluffy so shoveling won't be awful.
Here is just after it started (i.e. now).
I wound up at around 12-14. Temps were a bit higher so it wasn't as fluffy. I would have actually preferred colder temps and more inches of snow as it's easier to clear. Oh well, I'm done now. Too dark for pics. All in all, this storm was a bit of a dud.11" is the final total. We sure did need it and I'm in for the night so it's all good [emoji301][emoji300]
