What's the weather like where you are?

Lost part of the courthouse roof yesterday. High winds. Over 100 MPH at Cheyenne Mountain. 80 down here. I could feel my Tacoma rockin and rollin if a gust hit.
The Acura didn't show any wind at all.

Biggest wiff in Kansas City weather casting history. EVERY SCHOOL in the metro closed for the HUGE ice storm. Not a drop of precipitation within 100 miles.
Can't blame them for having a long weekend. It's coming..... Freezing rain in ICT right now.
^^^gotta agree there. You don't wan't to mess with ice rain. If the forecast says conditions are right, better to not have a bunch of people trying to make it home.

Our cold streak is over, forecast is 20 tomorrow and warming slightly each day until it gets to 43 by next weekend (then temps starts dropping again next Sunday). The ice storm I'm hearing about is predicted to be south of us.

As pretty as they are I seriously hate ice storms. I remember one in the 1960's with over 3 inches in Boston. Streets looked like Hockey rinks but I guess clear ice is just as slippery.

Hoth. Love it.

Actually it freezing cold but without the snow, ice & wind it's comfortable.

Where was that big ice storm I saw on the news last night, any members there?
I'd love to see some phone taken pics if you can open your doors yet.

I was under the mistaken impression it was for last night too.

Thanks to my little road-trip to SMF, I got to see how much standing water is still out there in the northern state.
The Fresno river is particularly full right now.

Our next round of 'Pineapple Express' precipitation begins tomorrow afternoon through Friday.

The very edge of that ice storm caught us, but we just had a little bit of a slick drive in this morning. Nothing much to a Minnesotan [emoji5]️

High of 34 today, no jackets or gloves needed at these temps!
