Still snowing here, too. We've got a good 3" on the grass. It's just now starting to lay on the roads and sidewalks.

Interesting how everyone gets so excited for the first snow if the season. In February this would be a "so what" event.

Just got back from walking the dogs (who are lovin' the snow ... ice cream from heaven ) and it's covering the streets and sidewalks now. They've upped our total forecast from 3" to 5".

Just checked the Weather Channel. They're saying Historic Storm hits the Northeast with corresondent coverage from Fanuiel Hall.

Silly Weather Channel. 4-6 inches is a dusting around here. Snow in Austin TX though... That needs some coverage. I bet their losing their minds about now. Thinking of cancelling schools and stuff...

Needless to say, the pond is frozen over. That's about right. I usually shut it down mid-December and open it in March or April.

Kansas City - as is the case (lately more often than not) is unseasonably warm. 40's saying some 50's maybe 60 this weekend.
