What's the weather like where you are?

I think my rain is all but through. There is a slight chance of a bit more in an hour or so according to my future radar. It lightly rained all day with a few times of heavy rain. I received .78" of much needed moisture here at my home. It was a good soak in rain that the grass around here desperately needs. It barely warmed into the low sixties today but the rest of this week and all of next is to be in the seventies and eighties with zero rain.

A lot of sunshine here for a change and a slight Northerly breeze. The humidity after the rain that's fallen is 80% and with the temperature only 62° the grass is glistening with water droplets. I'm just hanging out and waiting for it to dry out enough to mow two days worth of lawns. It's a pretty day.

It was a beautiful day yesterday and today was the same. The high today was 80° with a very slight breeze from the North East. The forecast has this sort of weather predicted for the next week. Needless to say, it will be a great week for being outside.

We're looking at this for at least another 5 days.

Amazing is descriptive of today's weather. It's already in the mid sixties with low eighties predicted for this afternoon. A full sky of blue with negligible wind will make for a great day to be outside. I'm betting the golf courses will be slammed today. I'll be riding my bike and soaking up the rays. Currently it is 67° with zero wind.

It's another dandy day here in doodah. I've learned to enjoy it while it's nice. It will be way too hot soon or too windy or both. Currently it is 69° with no wind. The predicted high today is 81°. Talk about sweet...

Dust bowl and rainclouds with rain just a few days ago,
we are getting dusty light in here today,
it was so horrible the other day, we have a few tree branches broken up. But the house is pretty standing still.

Kansas has had quite a bit of foul weather this evening. It just barely sprinkled here a couple of times. Not enough sprinkles to trip a hundredth of an inch here. Oh well, I'm glad the nasty weather went North and East of my location.
My weather alert radio is still going off and the local channels are still running a weather ticker at the bottom of their broadcasts. There were some tornadoes reported... I don't know if there was any damage.

A major weather front passed through late last night. It brought rain to the North of my location but completely missed raining here. What it did manage to bring is cold weather. After being in the high eighties to low nineties lately, this morning it was 55° and has warmed up to 59° with a stiff North wind in the twenties range. I'll be dragging my long clothes back out to mow today.

I could use some of that cooler weather about now...the AC is out. INSIDE temps are ín the low 80's. Extra fan in the bedroom keeps me from wanting to do damage to everyone near me.
I empathize. The last time my AC went out, I stayed at the cabin because I couldn't sleep. I grew up without AC.. I'm way spoiled now. I hope a cheap repair or a cold front is in your near future.

It's amazing how spoiled we are. We had a water assist central air unit in the house I grew up in. My father didn't think it was necessary to run and a waste of money. Windows open and a fan was good enough for us. We survived and really didn't think it was a big deal. Nowadays I can not deal with hot humid weather when trying to sleep. I love working and sweating but it's not a climate I can relax in. I am quite sorry for anyone that lacks a climatized dwelling.

We had a big window fan in the house I grew up in too. I don't ever recall being hot when I was a kid. I've still got that old fan out in my shed. Used it last probably about 25 years ago in our old house when the AC went out.

Our AC guy (the wife's cousin) came by this afternoon and got us going in no time.

It's nice being spoiled in our old age.
