I currently get an allowance of 1gb on my Desire from 3 which has usually been sufficient per month. This month my 1gb was used up within 14 days and I have so far been charged an extra

I use 3G Watchdog to monitor my monthly data usage. The Pro version breaks down how much data each app has used.
