Help Whats with my text messaging

Why am getting "incoming text rejected, text memory full" notifications when I might have 5 text in there.

Im using handcent but I also check stock msg app to make sure its not full (it is not)

also i seem to get this a little after I get phone memory low msg, theyre probably connected but I just wanted some clarification

How many apps do you have downloaded?
everything seems to run off system memory and there is only I think 200mb's allotted if you have lots of apps they fill that memory.
