I'm topping out at .50 (70kb/sec) down, and .25 (30~kb/sec) on my sprint connection on my phone, whether or not via wireless tethering. I'm on the newest release which I think is 3.1 or 3.2.

Anyways is there a way to achieve greater? I've hit 1.5MB/sec down on my pcmcia 3g sprint card on my laptop so why wouldn't I be able to get that thru my phone?

Thanks but a PRL update is not the fix.

did your read it? it is not just prl. this is more of a http fix. scroll down further you need to get your msl code. what rom are you on? some roms the epst will not work.

Synergy RLS1 + GodMode

thats the rom I'm on. I tried the fix linked, no good. The whole "turn off gps will increase your speed" is bs too. Doesn't work for me at least.
