What's your favorite MLB team?

Going for that W on paper already. Something tells me that they will still stink. However, I do think the over/under for Roidtista's RBI totals is about 135 now.
Roidtista, lol. I certainly hope not, I just signed the guy to a 4 year deal in my dynasty league...

Yup, good trade for both sides.

In yesterday's news, the Cubs signed Edwin Jackson to a four-year deal and Carlos Villanueva to a two-year deal, and the Rangers signed A.J. Pierzynski to a one-year deal.

I think Seattle got the better end of that deal. Kendry plays solid defense and he's a masher. The only downside to him was that plantar fascia break.

I also think the Cubs overspent for Jackson.

A few new signings today: Cody Ross got a three-year deal with Arizona, and Seattle signed Raul Ibanez for one year. These were both guys that had been connected to the Yankees. I personally had thought that the Yanks would end up resigning Ibanez after the way he endeared himself to the fanbase during the playoffs. Looks like we'll have to find someone else.

Yanks brass have shown me nothing that will make me want to re-purchase season tickets this year. StubHub it likely is this year.

Looks like Cleveland gave Swisher the money he was looking for.

He doesn't deserve that kind of money either. I would like to know where athletes get their projected figures from. Most of these guys are smoking crack with the salaries they demand, and then receive. Don't get me wrong. I loved Swisher during his time as a Yankee. The only issue was that it was all or nothing with him. He's a streak guy. Only upside was solid defense.

I seriously snorted when I saw those numbers, Swish just robbed the Indians blind. At that rate, I'm glad the Yanks didn't bring him back. They'll get their draft pick. I've seen some rumors on them trying to trade for Justin Upton, but the price seems rather high. Saw another one about a relatively cheap trade to bring Alfonso Soriano back, where the cubs would eat most of the salary. I don't like either of them, but this season is looking like it's in trouble.

Well, I won't count us out quite yet. Look what we did last year with all the injuries we faced. A lot of those guys are returning this season (including Mo and Pineda). All I can say though is that this may be one of those make or break seasons due to our cutback on spending, and the potential for Cano to walk after the 2013 season.

So what does everyone think about the HOF election results? I personally don't like the fact that no one got in. I really felt that at least Biggio should have gotten in. We all can agree that he didn't juice and he 3,000 hits. That's such a slap in the face imo because the only people without 3,000 hits that aren't in the hof are Rose(banned for betting) and Palmeiro(juiced).

Feel in love with Fenway Park when we went to Boston so I follow Red Sox. Added bonus is that Fenway Sports bought my fave football team Liverpool.
