Um, they gave us QuickOffice free? There's an icon in the app drawer, check it out. It just let me save a Word document. And PDF viewing is WAY WAY faster. That's pretty cool. I'm pretty sure I didn't download it, lol...

Nope

You'll never be able to touch the /system partition without root. Luckily, this OTA is still rootable with the Droid 2 method.

QuickOffice was already there, just no icon. I was using it to open PDF's before the 2.2 update. But I don't know how you would have created a word document without the icon...
