Root where are they?

[zaphodbebleebrox]

I deleted. Talk.apk & talkprovider.apk, gpt lucky & found them online in a zip file someone had. Downloaded them to the SD card.

I had to INSTALL them for some reason for them to work. I wanted to just move them to system/app.

MY QUESTION is where did theOS put the files when it installed
Them.

They are not in system/app & they are not on the SD. Card. I would like to move
Them back to system/app so they wouldn't have to be installed.

Can you confirm that the app installed and you can run it? /data/app and /system/app are the only places I'm aware of that the apk could be.
