where does everyone store their photos?

I run my own cloud (owncloud.org) that way I still own it :)
I have ~120G in pictures now, got our first digicam in 1999 and scanned pictures prior to that. Primary copy is on my netbook then I sync that to my server. I but a new hdd about ever 1.5-2 years and put in my current laptop/netbook and put the previous in an external enclosure. Then one of the previous gets plugged into the server where its an online backup and the other stays in my fireproof safe. I then swap the drive in the safe with the one on the server every so often.
I learned the hard way to not trust anyone elses storage after both hotmail/msn and yahoo lost data of mine.

Hey I was wondering if you have issues with ssl and how do you get the .csr (certificate, self signed) onto your android phone (assuming you have android since this is an android forum).
 
For me, everything is in Google Plus. Every pictuer that I take is sent to google plus, and saved and accessable from every device that I can access Google from. I love it.
 
Rule #1 of data safety.... redundant backups. ;)

My library is on my PC. It's mirrored to Dropbox and sync'd on a daily schedule to a NAS box. Which is sync'd weekly to an external hard drive. Which is rotated monthly with an identical drive and stored off-site. The really important images, those in my online gallery, are also on Picassa. My "catalogue" file, containing all the adjustments for every image, is also mirrored to Dropbox.

Short of global armageddon, when lost images will be the least of my concerns, I've got my bases covered. :)
 
Unlike most, any uploaded pics are 72 DPI and 800x600. They show up just fine on the pc and devices. No Exif data uploaded. Image Shrink does a good job on the phone. If anyone in the family wants a copy, I'll print the original and send it, or send a full copy of a jpg instead of the Photoshop PSD.

Take me years to meet a quota.

I shoot mostly RAW, and the DSLR files are dumped in entirely by date. I usually keep most, since an OOF pic might just be better to work with for digitizing embroidery or a design. I have 2 backup ext. HD. Older pics are on CDs.
 
I use dropbox to archive my photos automatically.

However I don't know if this means synchronization or just a copy operation to the cloud?

What happens if I delete a picture from my dropbox folder later? Will that picture be removed from my phone as well? Or if I delete it on my phone, will it be erased from dropbox?

You can erase stuff from.db it wont effect stuff in cloud, thier not synked, and as much trouble this seems.to be giving.you just get a external drive you can get a 2-3 terra drive for cheep
 
I think a 3 terra is around 150_180 bucks, look them up on.new egg,.com dont go to frys . Newwegg has the best deals
 
new egg does have some good deals, i was wondering if that laser keyboard is actually worth it , want to get one for the N7.



Has anybody tried the Laser Keyboard that they show on the Office Depot commercials ?
 
Box here with 50gb free storage for lg nexus 4 and dropbox with 28gb free storage.
The camera upload works great. I have every photo backed up since using android from 2010 on dropbox.
Works great!!!
 
I mainly use Dropbox since I now have a phone without expandable memory. Right now I have 75GB on Dropbox. Most of it came free with my Virgin Mobile HTC One V.
