Where is VZW Song ID?

This might actually get me to listen to a Justin Bieber song, just so I can end this nonsense once and for all.
 
Shazam fails me about 50% of the time, SongID worked every on my old LG.. what other options WORK for Droid?

Odd. I can't think of a single time Shazam has failed me and SongID was only about 66% reliable on my LG Dare. We know no two Droids are alike, perhaps it plays in.

I tested Shazam once in a crowded and loud restaurant where we could hardly here the song over the speakers. I didn't expect it to hear it, let alone identify it since it was a little bit older song, but it worked flawlessly and impressed the friends I was with. Unfortunately there were no iphones in the group to make mad because my phone actually worked. lol

Anyways, there have been only a couple of times where Shazam hasn't worked for me. Some brand new songs by smaller artists don't always show up. Also every so often Shazam database goes down or they take it down for maintenance but it's normally back up an hour later or so.
 
Is there anything newer than Shazam? I hear its a great app in a few places, but it now costs nearly $5 just to identify songs. I'd be willing to pay, but not that much...
