Where or how do you carry it

I am considering the note and wanted to see how many people carry this phone in their Pockets. I currently have a 4.5 inch infuse and I carry it with a case in my pocket. I am a grown up and never wear skinny jeans. Is this phone really practical to carry in your front pants pocket without it looking funny or you feeling like its going to break?

Also considering the HTC one x or just keeping the infuse. I'm paying outside of contract so 650 is a lot of money.

Most people say once they get used to the size they are hooked on it. How much of an adjustment to how you use and carry it do you have to make? Anyone wish the phone was a little smaller?
 
I love my note, and carry it in my pocket just fine, but like you, I don't wear tight clothes and I like cargo pockets on my clothes so it isn't an issue. The larger screen makes texting much easier, and viewing the web is so much better on this screen.:)
With all of the phones that are smaller than the Note, why would anyone buy the Note if they wanted a smaller screen? :confused:
 
I have the Seidio Active case on my phone and I carry it in my jean pocket everywhere I go. Even when jogging. I have yet to buy one of those arm slider cases for it for easier jogging. Love the size of this phone.
 
During the week I wear dress trousers to work, and it fits fine in the front left pocket. I used to carry a 7" GTab in that pocket, but that was a bit bulky. Now I don't need to carry the Tab.

On weekends I usually wear jeans and a cargo shirt, it fits well in a shirt pocket with the added benefit of having the Velcro flap to keep it from falling out.
 
I have the Rearth Ringke Slim Case (best f'n CASE EVA!) and it goes in my shirt pocket when I have my suits on.

Folks go "WTF IS THAT?!?! CAN I HAZ!!!" -- people love my Note when I show it to them.
 
I wear Jeans, some tighter than other, but overall, never had an issue with it in my pocket... Although, I should mention that in the tighter jeans, SITTING with it in your pocket MIGHT be an issue. ;)

I have the Flip Case with mine, so no added bulk helps as well. :)
 
My jeans are neither baggy nor tight, and the Note fits fine. One pair of my jeans is a little snug for my taste, and the phone feels a tad tight, but not a really big deal.
 
Belt holster most of the time, back pocket some of the time, no fit problem. Additional question: Does anyone know of plug covers that you can buy to keep dust out of the phone innards? Like the USB and audio jack.
 
Seido active holster (only, not combo, $21) + Diztronic TPU case ($9). I think alot of people were disappointed they didnt make a Surface combo. I know I was. The Diztronic TPU protects the raised lip of the screen... well, that also prevents the holster from pulling off the case, as would happen with many TPUs. You can snap it in, just like a Surface combo. I did have to put two small patches of Velcro pad (fuzzy of course) in the bottom corners. It wouldnt fall out without the velcro, but gives it a good snug fit. The savings in bulk over the Active case is noticible. Also, can be carried face in or face out (maybe more for clipping it somewhere to watch a movie, not bang around on your hip).
 
No case just the ghost armor skin and screen protector. I wear normal slightly baggy jeans around the house and Slacks at work; and I keep it in my left pocket with the screen facing inward. I bump a lot of tables and desks and I don't want my screen to take the brunt. I even found it fits nicely in my Dickies Shirt pocket if needed. Normally unless I pull it out, nobody even notices I have it in my pocket
 
Bought my Note last week and I've been lugging it around on my front pocket with just the Steinheil Oleophobic screen protector. I like it bare (without any case) because of its slim design. No trouble with slipping it on tight fitting jeans whatsoever.

I still have not found the best way to carry my note. I have never used my pockets for cell phones. I usually have a holster of some type. I require a holster with a flexible belt loop. The metal clips alwasys manage to pop off of my belt, and the plastic ones just break. My current holster has lasted through several phones. I think it was originally a camera holster. My Note fits in this but not well. I'll keep looking.

most of the time mine is in my front pocket...I wear mostly jeans (loose, not gangsta loose)
when I have to dress casual, I have a holster...

Carry mine in my front pocket - Jeans, slacks, shorts - no problem whatsoever. Feels no different than when I had my Evo 4G.

You do have to use the phone slightly different. One handed operations are a bit more limited. I do find myself juggling the phone around in my hand more to reach the capacitive buttons. And i could go as small as 5.0 if it meant a bit smoother one handed use.

But who are we kidding, even at that size you're still gonna do the phone juggle every now and then so might as well stay at 5.3.

Love the phone though you won't regret your purchase.
 
Being Summer, wearing shorts I have no problems carrying it in my pocket. I can put my BlackBerry PlayBook so the Note isn't a problem.
