Which browser are you using on your Optimus?

I mainly stick with the original browser it came with and it seems to work great for me. I also use skyfire for when I want to watch videos that won't stream with the main one.

Duvallite, we're all on the edge of our seats! Which one(s) did you go with?

Too funny, melim! Well, right now I'm giving both Opera Mini and Miren a try, and they seem decent so far. Skyfire seemed too "busy" for me, though vids are good. Haven't tried any of the others yet, but plan on trying them sometime. And the stock browser still seems pretty good also, at least for my not too demanding needs.

Nice to see all of the feedback from everyone :). Pretty helpful to all of us that like to tinker with our phones, I'm sure.

Anyone tried angel browser? It has almost everything except the option to stop a page from loading. Otherwise, I use Opera or xscope. Just don't understand why Opera can't display Yahoo right.

Skyfire. Because it lets you move to a SD card. Remember the browser cache goes along with the program.

Install Skyfire. Let it be your main browser and then delete the cache from the stock browser. Saved me about 10 mb of precious internal storage.

edit: Well, I learned the cache didn't move cause android won't let it. Still using Skyfire for now.

Tried a few so far. Dolphin is okay, but can be kinda sluggish. Skyfire stopped loading for me, and was a bit too cluttered for me, so I got rid of it. I'm really liking Opera mobile the best. fast loading, nice interface and the ability to import bookmarks from the PC version.

Was interested in checking out Firefox mobile, but no can do on the Optimus. :(

Opera Mobile has various tweaks. Besides Opera Mobile's settings, if u type:

opera:config

on the address bar, u get a list of Preference Editor that can be tweaked :)

I use Opera Mobile. And it seems like every time the phone is turned off and on I have to pick the default browser again.

I use Loader Pro and I assigned the standard Froyo icon in the dock to Opera Mini instead of the stock browser. I've restarted my phone a few times, but I haven't had a problem with trying to reassign the default browser after the first time. It sticks with Opera every time.

Anyone tried Life browser v.2? The bookmarks has a visual 'flipping' effect which is kinda neat. But the user interface is very different from dolphin or opera mini...I'm still trying to get used to it :)

+1 Dolphin HD
but I really don't use the web browser much as it's just too small of a screen to do much browsing with...

I normally use the stock Browser for everything, but I do use Dolphin occasionally when I have to fool a site (e.g., Facebook) into thinking I'm using a normal computer.

For anyone interested, the latest Dolphin HD ver5.0 is now available on the market, with redesigned 5.0 themes.

New tab now comes with Speed Dial. :)

I cant believe nobody has mentioned Net Front Life Browser. Way better tabbing, social media is incredible with cut and paste option using scissors cutting out any thing in any shape with your finger. Speeds are excellent and the whole browsing experience is designed especially for android. Not for messaging low budget cells as well as High end. Android only. My second choice is a hard one between Opera and Dolphin. Although Dolphin has great customer service on Facebook. By far Net Front Life Browser is the best in my point of view.:)

I've been using Skyfire for 3 months, but just tried Life Browser. Really like it. Seems to display mobile pages better than most. Takes a little getting use to, but once tags are set-up and you figure out which way to flip things, it's great (reminds me of Cubed Player). I'll keep Skyfire for a while, but my guess is I'll uninstall it after awhile if not used. Thanks for the suggestion!

Just before I tried it, I tried Miren, Boat, Opera and Dolphin Mini, and didn't really like any of them.
