For those that want a free 3d launcher, "Regina" is now out on the market and it's free. I'm not getting it though. It looks like it slows the phone down.
 
LP Plus has been force closing a lot on me lately and I think it is partially due to the auto rotate for landscape on the homescreen, but not quite sure.

Regardless, I absolutely LOVE the new customization feature on LP Plus, in order to have custom skins for the widgets! I finally have all the transparent widgets I've been wanting! At first, I was puzzled about how to get a skin that'll work for this, but then I just downloaded one that a developer had already made, which ended up being perfect for my needs!
 
I just started using Go Launcher EX & I love it!

Very new to the smartphone game (used to have "dumbphones"), so I have no idea how to root & I would imagine that this is the closest thing I'm gonna get!!! Also like how easy it is for a noob like me; tried LPP & was just not getting it...found this, & i really like it so far. :)
 
I'm using Go Launcher Pro i've tried all the others mention in the poll but found this one to have some pretty cool features and light weight.
 
Go launcher never lags or messes up. Tons of free skins the launcher is free its self. It has go SMS which is nice too. I keep of real simple though with only two launcher screens, but one say I got bored and tried to seem how many it would support and it was endless I think. Check it out!!!!!

i've been using LauncherPro due to the 3D dock launcher and screen animations/transitions from program to screen and vice versa. it's missing an overshoot option, which is present in ADW.Launcher. again, if the features of these two were combined, it would make for the perfect launcher. it seems that which each update of these two, they get closer and closer to be just like each other.

I've found Go Launcher to be of the best available, more customization than anyone could ever imagine. Works great. EVO

Does anybody know when fede plans on launching the revised LPP?

It's been force closing on me a lot lately and I've hesitated to go back to Go Launcher because there are certain widgets that are "must-have" for me.

Thanks in advance for anybody that knows.
 
GO Launcher EX for me too. Amazing. Smooth. Highly customizable. Supports 30 home screens (I never go past 4-5 really). And the 'recent apps' and 'running apps' tabs in the app doc put it over the top. I hate scrolling through pages of apps to find what I want.

Anybody know if they've added widgets for Go Launcher? Last time I checked the Go Launcher thread in the Moto X forums, they only had Calendar and Task Manager widgets.
 
I've tried ADW, ADW EX, aHome, Go Launcher, LauncherPro, OpenHome, Slidescreen and Zeam. I like ADW/ADW EX best, though, they just seem to run better on my phone.

I remember trying one launcher that had a long-press option to add all of your apps to the desktop but I can't remember the name of that launcher. I'd like to install it again if I can ever find it.
 
I haven't picked one....right now I sit an look at the progress made on all of them and it really amazes me. adw is ok...I have it on our aria. zeam has been great on my nook. and I still run lp on the evo. the inspire runs stock hatch browser for now. not a fan
 
On my HTC evo, I think Go Launcher EX is the best home launcher. After several phone replacements and hard resets, I've tried pretty much all of them at one point or another. However, since the 2.3 update I can't figure out how to make it the default. I can open it but as soon as it sleeps and I hit the home button, it goes back to Sense.
Does anyone know of a good home manager application?
 
I did a reset on my phone after Gingerbread download and reinstalled Go Launcher. That allowed me to reset it as the default. You could try uninstalling and reinstalling it. Awesome Launcher by the way.
 
I had been using LPP for the past few months, but recently decided to try Go Launcher. After a week Im sticking with it. Snappier, no issues, like the themes, like the options, looks great, etc.
 
I'll vote "other". I've tried ADW and Launcher Pro, but I didn't really like either more than Sense, but then I tried Go Launcher. I really like it, and it pairs well with my favorite messenger client Go sms. Both are highly customizable and stylish.
 
For those of you that weren't aware, Go Launcher Ex just released an update today that apparently will allow you to have a 10X10 grid.

Couple that with Colorize Widget's pro version and I think Go Launcher Ex just might have LPP beat.

I just might be switching from LPP to Go Launcher Ex tonight.
 
I've been using Go Launcher on my SGS for about a month now and love how it works. Only problem is some apps/games aren't saving my progress so thats a bit annoying. App drawer is alot better than the original SGS drawer though.
 
trying out go launcher ex, one question though... are there comparable widgets to the LPP widgets? kind of a deal breaker. i love my calender and facebook friend stream style widgets.
