I'm still subscribed to the some threads over here, and won't ever forget my first (EVO), so figured I'd share the screenshot thread I made in the MoPho forums that'll be useful here as well. I'm assuming the apk from XDA will work just the same, but be sure to read the XDA thread prior to installing.

I was using GoLauncher EX. It's nice but when viewing my apps, when I would press my home button, it would take me 1 page to the left of my home screen. Have no idea why. When I touched the home icon in the app drawer it worked fine. Only would do this with the app drawer. Kind of irritated me so I went back to using Sense. I think I like it better anyway.
 
Anybody have an idea when Fede is going to be releasing the "new and improved" Launcher Pro Plus? I know he stopped putting out time estimates, but I'm so intrigued about what "changes" he's making that'll make LPP better. LPP works WAY smoother on the MoPho than it did on the EVO.
 
Ive used ADW & GoLauncher EX & both of them were horrible for me. I just wasnt too happy with them. So i switched to LauncherPro & its given some good results. Its got a good interface & not laggy. I give it 2 thumbs up for me. Ive been curious to try SPB 3D. Well see whats up with that.

i would definitely try spb 3d, but man is it way overpriced. looks real cool for sure. but that needs to go.
 
Yeah it is overpriced thats y i havent tried it at all. If i had the money to spend on that i would but i rather spend it on a burger or something that fills my stomach... Im always grubbin. I might see how i can get my hands on it though to give it a shot.

Extremely delayed response to your question:

Over at the Launcherpro forums, Fede has said he "learned his lesson" about giving out ETAs (a ton of people have been pretty brutal to him on forums, since he missed the general time-frame he though he would get done, so he seems pretty wary)... but as recently as Oct 5th he said "Yes, I'm currently busy with the complete rewrite of LP. I don't have any ETAs though, sorry."

Still think his is the best launcher out there, so I can be patient to wait for what he releases next...
 
I have to go with go launcher. I tried almost every launcher out there and i did try launcher pro. Go launcher was and continues to work better for me than any of the others. I evem found an awesome dev goes by Niceaps. Amazing quality on the themes AND saves to sd card:)
