Root Which ROM should I chose?

Well as the Evo 4g rooting capability for Android 2.3 arrives, I'd like to be prepared. I've been searching around and these 2 ROMs caught my eye, the Senergy ROM and the Virus Kingdom ROM. The thing I like is the Sense 3.0, that is because I am used to sense, so I'd like to keep the sense ui. But both the roms look really good and I have no idea which one to pick. Maybe someone could make a suggestion on which rom I should pick, or maybe another rom. I dont use my 4G or my HDmi Port so I'm open to any rom! :D
 
both of those roms are great roms. the synergy rom is a combination of sense 2.1 and sense 3.0. it is not pure sense 3.0 and it does not come with the carousel. the synergy-kingdom rom is pure sense 3.0. this rom is in a nightly form as pf right now. meaning a stable release is not out yet. that does not mean that it is not stable it is just a work in progress. though the latest 7/22 nightly is an awesome rom. just keep in mind that these sense 3.0 roms are huge in size and it is recommended that you partition your card. here is the guide i use:[GUIDE][07/07/11]How to Partition your SD Card - xda-developers

also keep an eye out for mik3d. it is in alpha stage and it is the one i'm on right now. and this thing is sweet. i can't wait to see what the final product will look like. check it out here:theMikMik.com • View topic - Mik3D - A1 - [7/30/2011] you might have to register to see it.

edit: i forgot to mention that virus sort of ditched the virus kingdom rom for the synergy-kingdom rom.
 
^ Good link. (didn't even need to register, but you probably do to download, couldn't find any download links...) Still good info though. Very interesting. ROM'ing seems like it'd be a fairly satisfying thing to do really.
 
When you flash a ROM does it take memory from your internal storage, or your SD card if you DONT partition?
 
the rom gets flashed into your internal memory. and the sense 3.0 roms are really big. though they seem to be getting smaller with each build. also partitioning your card is pretty easy to do.
 
Yeah, i went and checked out a ROM it was pretty big, like you said it was about 300MB only leaving roughly 200mb left :( So yeah i think I'm gonna partition :D

also one thing i did not mention is that it is recommended that you have a class 6 card or higher, if you are going to partition your card. the higher the card the better performance you will get.

Ok, so i installed the rom you suggested and right when it loaded... everything in the root crashed and asked me to force close. And when i try to open superuser it crashes and asked me to force close.... help!!
 
Thanks a lot man that worked completely, and i must say i really like this rom so far! Sense 3.0 is much slicker than 2.0 i really enjoy using it :)
