Root which rom should i pick

How do put something on the root of the sd card im lost on that point.

The root of the card is just on the card not in any folder. If your trying to install a zip it doesn't have to be on the root of the card it can be in folders, every Rom, theme, boot logos and every thing else I've flashed have been in folders and install just fine
