Root Which ROM should I use?

I am finally rooted thanks to the help of some board members. I am running 4.5.588. Which is the best rom?

When I say/type best, I mean best for Newbies. Also, the main improvement I am looking for is battery life. Thanks for the help.

Blur is what you are looking at now on your phone. Blur widgets, blur messaging app, blur contacts, blur dialer, blur camera app, etc...

ApeX uses AOSP, which some like more than blur.

And one newb clarifying for another newb (I had to look it up) AOSP = Android Open Source Project

I have used apex since froyo and have tried many other ROMs but always come back to apex. It has always been the most stable and fastest rom for me. Currently I can get 2 days easily on one charge, and benchmark 2100+ in Quadrant with a mild overclock (1.2 ghz LV).

I honestly dont think my phone has had one force close or one random reboot freeze anything the whole time I have been on apex.

Also even though fab does use AOSP messaging, camera app, etc.. I really dont find it to be a that of a deal at all. I actually prefer the AOSP camera because it takes great low light pictures unlike the blur camera for me. Plus all the settings are right there on the screen instead of digging through menus.

Also fab includes all of zip files to bring back most of the Blur you would want, which for me was just swype.
