I personally think it is because of the dark colors. I'm gonna update it tomorrow to include some tweaks from that build.prop thread. And might even change the statusbar to transparent if you think that would look good
I've charged my phone and drained it 2 times since flashing without recalibrating battery and this ROM seems to have given me at least 2 hours more battery based on its normal 13 hour span (bumped up to 15, 15 1/2) and I used it normally with my usual settings. Thanks for this power saver. Sorry for the long post, just thought you'd like to know.
*edit* I'm back using tg reloaded for right now but I'm thinking about flashing Froyo cream sandwich. Seems interesting.
