NP, looks like it's been up since about 7:30 last night. What have you heard about removing CIQ?Last I saw it was a "coming soon." I guess it's been updated too then!
Edit: Sure enough, it's also built! My apologies.
If you read the second post under the Syndicate ROM posting on XDA, or maybe the third, it goes into detail about what Carrier IQ is. I don't see how removing it would be a bad thing...
i have the new bonsai only thing i dont like is it dropped my quadrant scores down to about 1600-1700 from 2000-2100 and the clock in the notification bar is missing??? but thats all i dont like pretty smooth rom tho and new tw layout and drawer and my batt has been better
There is a flashable zip to restore the clock. I'll link it when I can.

Which EC05 ROM are you running? Did you have to Odin back to stock, update to EC05 and then flash the ROM?
I'm on Froyo 2.2.1 running the ACS Frozen 1.0.2 (Malanga). Thanks!
I just put E05 on my brand new epic 4G that has never been rooted. Is there a root available yet for E05? I just want Wifi tether
Bonsai 4.0
Nope, I used odin to flash the modem then flashed the ROM. It's a ext4 based ROM BTW.
Use the method listed in the locked "WIP" thread.
Ugh now I feel really dumb where is the "Locked WIP thread"? If I knew what WIP stood for I might be able to find it lol
Ok...newb question...what do you mean by flashed the modem?

I used the update.zip method to go to EC05 after reflashing everything from scratch in ODIN. I also rooted the phone without changing the ROM or kernal. Is there a way to find out what modem version you are using?
TIA
Download Odin: Odin3+v1.61andepic.pit.zip
Download the EC05 Modem: Samsung Epic 4G modem.bin firmware - version EC05 | Bonsai for Android
Pull the battery on your phone. Connect your phone to your computer via USB. Push and HOLD the "1" key on the keyboard and the power button until a yellow yield sign appears. Open Odin on your computer. Click PDA on the right hand side and select "EC05 Modem." On the left side, DEselect "F. Reset Time." Click start.
When it's done. Flash the EC05 based ROM you want (following normal ROM flashing directions and making sure you are RFS or EXT4 based per ROM instructions).
