I wondered about that. I had ordered through the Office Depot Business Direct, and I have both here on my desk. Once I call customer service back to order another replacement there won't be any way they can pry my original from my hands until I have one that is acceptable.![]()

Oh well it cold be different with office depot. I was speaking about the Google play store. Good luck!
Has anyone noticed their screen lift getting worse over time?
And what about the ppl who've tried to fix the screen lift only to have it come back - has the lift continually gotten worse?
In the meantime I'm trying not to touch the left side of the screen....
I don't have the original receipt since I bought it off someone, so I can't send it back under warranty
Mine has screen rise after only one day. I'm not too fussed at the moment. it is working fine, and is less than 1mm. I might contact google if it gets any worse. It certainly isn't affecting the screen itself.
But my question on this is, can his separation problem affect the sensitivity of the screen? It almost seems as if I have a dead spots in my touch screen.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
unfortunately, you are not going to be able to hold onto the original. They will ask for it back, you will have to keep the replacement.

Mine is in the middle of the left hand side. Very slight. I don't think I'd have noticed it but for me reading up on it and knowing what to look for. Not worth the effort of exchanging I'd say. Hope I don't regret not doing so!
Mine's now squishy on both sides.
2 questions.
Are the new one's any better yet?
I want to try the clamp thing for a day. Here in Phoenix it gets to 105 these days, so inside a car it may get close to 120. It there any danger of that being too hot and causing any damage? - I know not to turn it on until it's cooled down
Let me get this right, clamp screen (with protection) in heat, let cool off, then remove clamps?
I've had two with a little screen separation. I'm debating on trying to return this second one to Walmart, but I'm not sure if they'll think I'm nuts. It is raised and is definitely squishy on the left side.
I've also debated on attempting the clamp fix. Not sure what I think about that, though.

2 weeks in, my n7 screen is still perfect now after the clamp trick. What will it hurt to try it out? If it works, awesome. If not, then you can take it back still![]()
What exactly did you do to fix it?
