I will decide when they are both out. I am definitely ditching the Droid. I need a phone without a keyboard. Keyboards became outdated in 2007, and having a phone with a keyboard is like using a discman instead of an mp3 player.
That is more of a personal opinion. If you want to use apps that require a keyboard (like terminal emulator) then what do you do? Also I don't like the non tactile feel of a flat screen when I'm typing, it is much harder to memorize the layout. Have you noticed when you use the virtual keyboard it takes up a ton of extra space? That is another downside. And the biggest problem for me is I have oily skin, so when I type on screen I get tons of fingerprints. Yea I know that will still happen since it is a touch controlled phone/UI but you get a lot more smudges/smears when your only choice is to type on the screen.
Keyboards will never be outdated, there will always be a user base for them just like there is one for touch only.
