Who knows what these numbers mean...

When you search the 'Forums' section and go down the list of devices, what do the numbers beside the device represent? Like for instance when you scroll down to the Droid X you see this...

What does the 12,094 mean? Is that how many registered users have visited that forum? And does the 164,426 represent how many unregistered users have visited there?

I've always wondered, but there is no Key to explain it.

i was always under the impression that the first number was total number of threads, and the second number was total number of views...but im not too sure

ok did some searching around and the first number is definitly umber of threads but the second number is posts.

what i did was on the main forum page, i scrolled down the page until i came to the part where all the phones are listed. i then clicked on the link Android Phones, which took me to a new page with all the phones. then on that page, if you look at a phone, it will show how many threads and posts there are in that sub forum, and those numbers match up to the ones on the main page... i hope that makes sense

... i hope that makes sense

Yes it does, thank you for looking into it for me!

I had looked all over the home page as well and couldn't find anything that explained those numbers. But that makes sense alright. At first I thought it meant how many DX owners were registered. But then I realized that you don't register under which phone you have. Some people add which device they have in their profile, but so many people forget to update that when they switch phones, and some have multiple phones listed, so I figured there was no way that was what they went by.

Ok so number of threads and number of posts.... got it. Thanks again!
