Who still wants the stratosphere?

I don't care about the specs, they're still better than my current phone (Motorola Devour). Sure it'd be nice to have a dual core processor, or 1GiB of RAM, but is it 100% necessary? Not really. The Devour has a 600MHz processor and probably around 128MiB of RAM (not to mention being stuck on Android 1.6), so the Stratosphere would be a fantastic upgrade. I absolutely require that physical keyboard for my phone, I've tried using the touch screen keyboard on the Thunderbolt and I get maybe 8 words per minute with it. And since LTE is where things are going on Verizon I require that too for my upgrade. This phone is my only choice, and I think I'll like it.

As long as we can convince Samsung to update it to Ice Cream Sandwich when it gets released.

I hear you.. I'm rockin an LG Ally and its terrible in every way except for the keyboard, which is awesome. I'm very reluctant to give it up..

I was just about ready to jump on the Droid 3, but I just couldn't spend the next two years without LTE, which is extremely fast and just rolled out in my market.

That was the one thing keeping me from grabbing the Droid 3. No LTE at this point in the Verizon game is a bad idea. You kinda have to laugh at Apple for that.

My area (Denver) was one of the 38 original LTE cities so I want to take advantage of that. So I'm gonna demand that from my next phone.

If this phone came out back when it was time for my upgrade i would have chosen it over the Charge. Honestly i just can't stand not having a QWERTY keyboard. While the touch screen keyboard is nice i can't type anywhere near as fast as with a qwerty.

Also i know phones keep going for bigger screens and more power but in all honesty how much do you really need in a phone? Not to mention it seems like all the dual core phones coming out eat through battery life twice as fast as the single ones.

For people with a busy life style, need a qwerty and that can't be near a charger all day i think this is a great 4G option that isn't getting enough credit.

I'm just a little peeved we didnt even get thrown a bone with any spec bumps..

No camera, no memory, no cpu clock, nothing!?

Hopefully the price is a reflective of how old this model is..
