Can you comment on the screen quality of Sensation compared to Desire?

The screen of Desire is wonderful IMHO. However, it seems that Sensation screen is not AMOLED. All other specs aside, I'm worried if it's actually a downgrade in terms of screen/image quality, regardless of the higher res.

I haven't seen the Sensation in a local shop, so I can't compare myself.

I'm not sure if it's just the extra screen real estate but i actually prefer the screen on the Sensation over the Desire. I personally find the Sensation easier to see in direct light (this was the Desire's only downside IMO) and the screen quality is at the very least on par with the Desire if not slightly better.

I had the Desire for 18 months so have made the move your considering and don't regret it at all, other than losing all of the work i had put into rooting and customising the Desire!

I just upgraded to a Sensation yesterday! I love it!

I got my Desire in June 2010 and was very happy with it, with the exception being the lack of internal memory. (mumble, mumble, mumble)
