WHSmiths and free eBooks problems (UK)

had no problems downloading from whsmith using wifi got all the books i ordered.
the one problem i do have is if a book has any pictures in it the app crashes when it gets to them, useful at the start of every chapter.:confused:
 
Did a load of digging around yesterday and found I am supposed ot have a download button next to each book I have ordered. I don't and WHS are not answering emails. CrAp site TBH.
 
downloaded no problem but when you return to reading it crashes, so now i have to remember chapter...........i will take their free books but will never buy from them or use their ereader, or samsung movies, brilliant pr move, give stuff away and let people see how rubbish your product is before you spend any money

no problems, the only issue is having to order each book one at a time, bloody horrible purchase process wh smith, stick to high street please.
 
Yes, it was tedious using up my voucher money - ordering book by book!

The app is very unstable, have to manually create a bookmark after each reading session, or it goes back to earlier bookmarks on re-opening the book. Also crashes quite a lot on opening the app.

If there's one thing the free vouchers has taught me, it's that Samsung Movies store and the WH Smith store are currently unfit for purpose!

On the other hand, I've had no problems with the Amazon Kindle app and their ebooks, so I know what I'll be using in the future.
