Help Why is Asphalt 5 listed as not compatible?

On the google play store it says Asphalt 5 is unavailable for the SGSII, same story on the gameloft website. However I decided to download and install an apk from an 'alternate source', just to test it, and it works! It plays butter smooth unlike Asphalt 6, and it even works with my bluetooth gamepad. The only 'problem' I could see was that there was no in game music playing.

So what gives? Why am I not legally allowed to buy this game for my phone?

I don't see it either, ironically asphalt 6 is available. Seems their list of 'powerful' devices isn't that well updated.

It annoys me as well that Modern Combat 1 and NOVA 1 wont work on the SGSII, im sure it wouldnt take much to make them compatible, id like to play the originals before I dive into the sequels.

Why am I not legally allowed to buy this game for my phone?

It's simple - either the developer hasn't licensed it to be distributed wherever you are, or it's not fully-functional and the dev won't support it.
