Help WI FI problems....

for the past two days, i have been unable to connect to my home WI FI. my phone keeps saying "obtaining IP address...." but stalls out at that. my WI FI is working, my laptop will connect. ive tried a hard reset on my phone(down volume key, back key and power key) but it still WONT connect. anyone else have this problem???

What did you do to your phone just before this issue arose? Install/uninstall a certain app/service/feature? Something has obviously changed recently within your phone or router/modem/isp. You just need to start at the beginning and work your way through every possible missing link. Maybe even take the phone up to your carrier's store and get their insight.

Same problem on my week old (started on day one) with my LG Nitro. I don't have this problem on other protected networks. I have deleted it and added it back several times. It works for a while and then disconnects. I tried a WiFi app with no improvement. I am going to try a new modem tomorrow to see if there is a change...

Yesterday I messed with my router's channels and modes, and I found out that my girlfriend's Xperia Mini Pro won't remain connected while I have mixed modes (G and B).

Did anything on the router change such as MAC address filtering or have you gone past the number of DHCP IP addresses it was set to distribute?
