Help Widget Locker HTC EVO Help

I downloaded the WidgetLocker application for the purpose of being able to turn phone on by using the side volume buttons....For whatever reason I can't seem to get it to work....I have widgetlocker enabled in the settings....But when my phone goes blank it will not allow me to turn on using volume buttons but only the top power button....Any help would be appreciated...

Hello raik2619, welcome aboard the forums.

Those apps/widgets that affect the buttons and screen sometimes just won't play nice with other apps/widgets on some phones. I experimented with this by installing Widget Locker on my Fascinate, only to be disappointed that it would not function as described.

So, I took out NoLed on a hunch and then it worked fine. Those two apps should have nothing to do with each other, but I went back to NoLed and it borked Widget Locker again. I knew I had to make a choice, so I stuck with NoLed for locked screen, sleeping device notifications of incoming sms, etc.

There are other apps out there in Market which cause use of the "any key" function to wake up the device, just do a search, or check back in this thread for other users to chime in.

Did you turn on that feature in the widget lockervsettings? It is optional

Hey guys sorry for the thread hijack, but I didnt want to open a new thread. How can I change the slider with the widget locker??

I have the Iphone, froyo and regular option, but I wanted one that is just like a line or something really small I guess.
