Help widgetlocker and music controls

i just instaled widgetlocker. im liking it very much. however, i noticed that when i play music on the stock android music app, there are no music controls on widgetlocker, unlke on the stock lockscreen. is there any way of enabling this? i

actually currently use the google music app, which has no lockscreen controls at all, but im sure there'll be an update which includes lockscreen controls and im worried that it wont work with widgetlocker.
 
yeah it does, and i was thinking about it.. but ihave a rather cool lockscreen wallpaper :D and i dont want the widget blocking it every time, would be great if it just turns on when music is playing. lol
 
phantom music controls are a little bit less intrusive on your screen for blocking wallpaper, but do not show you the current song playing
 
PlayerPro, PowerAmp and probably some other players as well have an option to insert a screen with play controls "in front of" or replacing the lock screen.
I've found one difference between the PlayerPro (my preferred player) and PowerAmp screens though, when combined with WidgetLocker. Both PlayerPro and PowerAmp have an unlock button on the player screens they insert before the lock screen (in this case WidgetLocker), but while PlayerPro unlocks straight to the home screen - as I prefer - PowerAmp unlocks to the WidgetLocker lock screen.

And rereading that I think I managed to make myself slightly confused :p, but it's 5 AM and my brain is getting tired :).
 
yes, thanks :) i know wat u mean, i think doubletwist also had music controls that unlocked into the lockscreen. so it was like a double lock, when music was playing. didnt like that either. android music player has a good lockscreen control thing but the player itself sucks, for me at least :p i'll check out poweramp.

after checking this out, i think thats exactly wat i need. i dont mind it being intrusive if its gone when im not playing music. i think this does exactly that. let me try it out!
 
ahh they say it the Pro version supports google music and android 2.3 music player. but it doesnt work with google music.. disappointing. its exactly wat i need. it hides when no music is playing, and it can also give u the artist/title if u want it to. great app. hope they fix their google music support
