widgets like HTC

Hi all

I have taken my first step into customization and put launcher pro on my phone. I love it but It is missing some widgets that I rely on that are the stock HTC.

Weather
Gallery
News
Calendar (agenda view)
Switches for WiFi, data etc

I have tried beautiful widgets but I like the bigger HTC weather. Switches are ok. Can anyone recommend suitable replacements?
 
Yeah I could do with an answer to this as well, I also tried out Launcher Pro but found that without the big clock/date/weather widget in HTC Sense that it was largely useless to me.

Someone was asking me about a good news / weather widget. I don't know of any tried and tested ones.

given that there are loads of weather ones, any idea on a good News one?
 
I am using scrollable news widget at the moment. Its in its infancy but personally I think it is the best looking and best functioning one out there.

Just need Greader integration and for it to be a little more stable and then it will be perfect!

For me anyway :D
 
The widgets I use are from droidmania......You can get wifi, brightness, bt, airplane, lock screen, silent......Search the market by typing in droidmania ;) Another one is Elixir which has settings for loads of different setups!

I use buzzbox for my news (you set up the feeds you want sent) and these can be set as a 2x2, 3x3, 4x1, or 4x4 widget.
