Root Widgets

I have Cm7 nightly build 110! I was wondering why it doesnt let me put widgets from downloaded app on my screen? I thought it was my ROM, so i switched it to another cm7 ROM and nada Help me! im trying to put colornote as a widget

ok so i'm currently trying the new cm7.1 stable and i downloaded and tried the colornote widget and i can add it to my screen. so i'm not sure what your are doing. just find a homescreen long press the screen/widgets/find colornote sticky 1x1/select your note you want to sticky. i think this is the right app you are talking about.

Dude i had to reset my phone -_- but yeah thanks! it works now
