Wifes Droid Eris is DEAD :/

Well i just got off the phone with verizon and it seems my wifes eris just died. Before calling i tried a hard reset and nothing. Its stuck in an endless reboot cycle, you just see the droid bootup screen and then it keeps rebooting over and over. They are sending a replacement but it won't be here until friday :/ So they reprogrammed by old LG Decoy and for now she can use it. I know shes not going to happy with this, shes taking the dogs for a walk right now, but shes not going to be in a good mood when she finds out. Oh well.

Its only 2 weeks old, i just hope mine doesn't decide to call it quits anytime soon. I didn't know these phones had so many defects until i did a search on here.

Time to do a nandroid and titanium backup. At least then if something does happen to my phone i can get up and running again pretty quickly.

That sucks. I had to exchange/return my girl's phone the other day because of all the problems it was having. Got the new to her phone and it is working great.

Yeah hopefully the next unit will last longer. I wish i knew why it just died all in the sudden. Oh well, shes using my old phone now.

OP,
Did you put 2.1 on it or was it running 1.5?

It was still running 1.5, she won't let me touch her phone, hehe.
