Help Wifi always connecting...

Ill have my wifi turned off...whenever I get into range of wifi it chimes and wifi turns on (unortunately this is usually when Im driving so it does me no good). How the hell do I turn wifi off completely so it doesn't try to connect all the time. btw - it doesn't turn off unless I notice it on the phone and I manually turn in off. Thanks.

Go in to your settings..

Click wireless&networks

Click wifi. The toggle should remove the checkmark.

Unless you want this on for whatever reason.. You can go in to network notification in wifi settings and turn that off. So it wont notify you when a network is available.

Are you currently running on a ROM or anything?
