Help Wifi conflicts with wireless router

hello i have a wildfire and its unable to detect my wireless connection on edimax router

My Sony Ericsson Xperia Active also came up with this. I solved this by upgrading router firmware. For Linksys WRT54G latest firmware is here:

It's recommended to do it trough the wire.

Actually, the problem wasn't anything to do with DHCP. Router was just resetting (physically turning off/on) when phone was connected.

I used to have the same problem with my linksys router and HTC Desire S.

Since I upgraded from gingerbread to ice cream sandwich, the issue seems to be solved.

Sollution for me (in modem settings):
At my WPA key settings there was an option saying "Key Renewal" and it was set to 120 seconds. Setting this to 0sec solved my problems.
While going through the options i also noticed that my standard channel had a little text behind it saying: ( Current : 1 , Interference Level: Severe ) So i changed that as well.

I hope this fix works for the others with the same issue as well.
