Help Wifi connection issues

Had my desire for just over a year now and 3 days ago it randomly stopped connecting to my router, it can still see it and tries to connect for about 30 secs then stops. I have a BT home hub and thought it might be and issue with it but I tried connecting to my friends and it was fine. The weird thing is his desire lets him connect to my home hub with no problems. We are both running CM7 and all our settings are the same. Any ideas? Most likely be something extremely obvious

First thing to try is turn off the wifi & mobile internet, then turn on the wifi & see if that works.
If that fails try rebooting your phone.
Still no luck turn off your phone & remove the battery, replace battery & turn it back on again.
Next if still no luck try a factory reset.
If that didn't work try reflashing the radio & then the rom, or try a different rom.

This is weird. You have the exact problem I had, same rom, same hub.
