Root WIFI doesn't connect after ROOTING Galaxy Note

Just to let people know that there is a WIFI connection problem after you ROOT your Galaxy Note on ICS 4.0.3 / 4.0.4

For some reason the wifi icon appears, the message telling you your connected but WILL NOT actually process data via the web / internet

I have tried various ways

help some wifi issues with my galaxy note - xda-developers

But still is a persistant issue when rooted, but after a fresh reset (unrooted no apps etc) wifi will work !

Any ideas or tips to get it working once rooted would be grateful.
