Help Wifi doesn't work.

OK, so I flashed CM7 to my Triumph and everything was going smoothly. After I connected to my home network and surfed around a little bit I turned the phone off, but when I turned it back on, it wouldn't connect. All it said was 'Obtaining IP Address" so tried connecting to several different networks, secure and insecure, but it wouldn't connect. Is it a problem with the rom or the phone itself? Any Ideas?

I haven't noticed this on CM7, and I usually toggle my wifi on/off pretty often. Maybe try forgetting that network and adding it again, or reboot.

I'm having the same issue right now. The wifi was working fine before going to sleep last night but this morning I noticed it wouldn't connect to wifi its doing the obtaining ip address loop. I have tried restarting router, taking battery out of phone, forgetting network, nothing has seemed to fix this problem.

I've done that a couple times and nothing changes. I've even tried reinstalling the rom but that doesn't work either...very frustrating...

This is weird, I went through this last night.
Rebooted router and all was good

I still had internet on my whole network except phone
This is the first time this has happened

I had this issue once. As piper_ said, I reset my router and all has been fine since then. I have had to do it on a couple other routers that I connect to regularly (not the one I did the first time though) as well.

To those having the issues, does it happen on other networks as well?

I haven't heard why this happens, maybe a logcat when it is going on could be helpful? Not for me, but if someone else wants to mess with this issue, as I would be pretty much clueless.

You can see about resetting the other routers if possible and see if that helps? If not call Virgin Mobile and see what they say. You said you use CM7 so they may not do anything. If you don't lie to them, they might help and/or replace the phone.

Well I tried resetting the router but that unfortunately didn't work. I flashed the stock rom and so far it's working perfectly. I don't understand what could have gone wrong...
