Root wifi problems?

Hey guys.

Ever since installing miui ive been having trouble with wifi, it seems to download in short bursts of speed. I.e. ill load a page and it will hang just before its finished loading, it does this 80% of the time.

And when i download from the market or miui themes app it starts downloading, sometimes doesent even start but it 90% of the time stops downloading during the download? it just hangs there

my laptop, xbox and so on work fine on the wifi and its a good netgear router and my phone is recieving a good signal?

Ive changed the radio to a reccomended one, same problem is happening

it could be the RIL this miui build is using and your wifi doesnt like it

i mentioned on another thread try changing the channel (on the router). the phones wifi might not be happy with the channel the router is on.
other than that post in that miui thread to see if anyone else has encountered it and how to get around it.
probably RIL tho
