Help Wifi tether no longer working?

[Tim K]

This is regarding the Wifi Tether 3rd party app NOT the built in tethering.

I rarely use it, but tried today and no dice. When launching it says that it started "with errors" and the log shows lots of problems. It LOOKS like its running, and other devices can see it, but nothing can actually connect. Can't find a solution online, and in fact a lot of people report theirs is still working. I tried re-installing but that didn't help.

I'm on 4.1.1 on a Verizon GN. Stock, rooted.

Anyone else having problems? If not, what version are you running?

Got a buddy who uses FoxFi on stock VZW GalNex. Updated and paid the $7 and it still works.
