Root WiFi tethering issues

Everything but that starts up fine, and I have no idea why. Can anybody help out?

it wont start or it cuts off? make sure your wifi on the phone is shut off.

UN CHECK the box for "Enable WiFi-Encryption" in application settings for wifi tether.
 
Mine im using barnacle it connects and everthing shows the,connection on my laptop but has limited connectivity and wont let me online

Didn't think of that before, LOL. Well, it ended up working, but I've just finished switching from Metro to Sprint, so no more Samsung Admire for me. I really appreciate the help, though, and I can't let it go unthanked. :)
 
i connect fine everything is good but when i open my pc browser and i go to a site it just loads a blank page....no matter which browser i use
 
YEa everything connect fine, but most things don't work properly. Connect with my ipod touch, textfree cant send texts. But I can play pandora, well barely if you wanna call it that

Metro is blocking tethering with windows web browsers. I am on phandroid right now so i cant link you but check the post under my username i have a solution to their block
