Root wifi tethering problem!

does anyone have problem where you use wireless tethering off of 3g, you get to connect to it for roughly 5 minutes and then your laptop disconnects? the wifi app is still running on the phone but i'd have to "stop tethering" and then "start tethering" again.. then i get about 5 minutes, etc.
i was just wondering if anyone have that problem and know how to fix it! thanks

I was having this problem but it wouldn't be every 5 minutes, more like every couple hours. I had to disconnect, restart my phone, restart my computer, turn wifi tether back on and then reconnect and it wouldn't disconnect anymore.

Yep, I was having that problem, with pre13. I did notice that pre14 is out now, but i have not seen yet if it fixes anything yet.
